Stations Construction Hits 95 Percent for LRT Phase 1 Route

Construction progress on Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1 (Velodrome-Kelapa Gading) station has reached 95 percent. There are six stations in this route which are targeted to complete by the end of this year.
Five stations will be completed this November
PT. LRT Jakarta Project Director, Iwan Takwin stated, LRT Phase 1 route is as long as 5.8 kilometers with six stations. Those are Pegangsaan Dua Station located in LRT Depot, Kelapa Gading (North Boulevard) Mall Station, South Boulevard Station, Pulomas Station, Equestrian Station, and Velodrome Station.

He is targeting LRT transportation can be operated by the end of January 2019. Thus his side will test to operate this train before it is operated for public.
"Our target is to conduct trial run in two weeks from middle of January. After that it will ready to operate," he mentioned.
