End of November, 6 LRT Stations will Be Completed

PT. Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jakarta is targeting to complete all LRT stations construction in Phase 1 or Velodrome-Kelapa Gading route corridor by the end of this November.
Up to this October, its construction reaches 90 percent
LRT Jakarta Project Director, Iwan Takwin mentioned, LRT Phase 1 Velodrome-Kelapa Gading route has 5.8 km length.

It also has 6 LRT stations. Those are Pegangsaan Dua Station which is located in LRT Depot, Kelapa Gading Mall (North Boulevard) Station, South Boulevard Station, Pulomas Station, Equestrian Station and Velodrome Station.
"Up to this October, its construction reaches 90 percent and our target is to complete it by the end of November," he stated, Saturday (10/27).
He explained, its progress is now entering architectural finishing and mechanical electrical finishing.
He plans to finish all stations at once. But, there are some stations with highest progress such as Velodrome Station with 97 percent and Kelapa Gading (North Boulevard) Station with 96 percent.
For now, his side is installing LRT stations' facilities such as manual stairs, escalators, and elevators.
"Installation of all facilities will be completed in October," he added.
According to plan, LRT will be trialled in the mid of January.
"Our target is to operate LRT Jakarta for public by the end of January," he conveyed.
