Banggar Approves Jakpro's Local Investment by Rp 700 B

City DPRD's Banggar, agreed the budget for local investment by Rp 700 billion from Rp 1.5 trillion filed by Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) for three priority activity programs in 2019.

So for the three priority programs of Jakpro, after being cut we agreed to Rp.700 billion from the initial proposal in the amount of Rp 1.5 trillion

City DPRD's Banggar Meeting Chairperson, Triwisaksana disclosed that those programs were BMW Stadium project, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) revitalization, and land procurement for zero down-payment housing projects (Samawa).

About BMW Stadium project, he furthered, Jakpro filed local investment by Rp 400 billion, TIM revitalization Rp 500 billion, and land procurement for Samawa Rp 248 billion. Totally the amount of filed budget in 2019 KUA-PPAS was more than Rp 1.5 trillion.

After going through a tough discussion process with the council members, Monday (11/26), the local investment filed by Jakpro by Rp 1.5 trillion was cut to Rp 700 billion, with details for construction of BMW Stadium by Rp 400 billion, TIM revitalization became Rp 200 billion and land procurement for Samawa became Rp 100 billion.

"So for the three priority programs of Jakpro, after being cut we agreed to Rp.700 billion from the initial proposal in the amount of Rp 1.5 trillion," he expressed.

It was done to reduce the budget deficit and anticipate the occurrence of funding, as construction of the three priority programs is likely to be executed in August 2019 after going through the auction process.

"We cut it to hinder fictitious budget. For the next budget, it can be filed in a change meeting," he uttered.
