Jagakarsa Bina Marga Unit, South Jakarta, repairs water channel's cover (inrit) in several spots on Jalan Paso, Jagakarsa Urban Village. Several inrits are broken because it can't hold load of vehicles that often cross above it.

This repair is done by five Jagakarasa Bina Marga Unit personnel

"Broken inrits are varied from 2.4 meters long and 60 centimeters wide. This repair is done by five Jagakarasa Bina Marga Unit personnel," mentioned Niyozi, Jagakarsa Bina Marga Unit Head, Tuesday (11/27).

According to him, repair is done by replacing it with the new one. His side makes inrit manually by mixing cement, sand, and rock. "Hopefully there is no rain today to make the mixture to be dry and hard thus it becomes stronger," he conveyed.

His side will continue to patrol the areas to anticipate any infrastructure facilities that are not functioning properly due to damage. Moreover in this rainy season, there will be many potholes on the road due to puddle. "We should repair potholes when it is still small thus it will not get wider," he said.
