Pier Construction on The Eastern Side of Pramuka Island Reaches 75 Percent

Pier construction progress located in the eastern side of Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, North Seribu Islands now reaches 75 percent.

Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept.'s Facilities and Infrastructure Section Head, Suherman stated, this construction are consisting of stakes installation, sheet pile installation, groove deepening, and elevating dike walls.

"Current progress of pier construction is already 75 percent and now it is entering finishing stage," he mentioned, Friday (11/30).

He explained, the rest of construction work is only finishing dike and pier walls. This pier will be used to dock fishermen boats and also boats to transport tourists.

This construction is done to follow up one of resident's proposals in Musrenbang 2017 with total budget Rp 9.7 billion.

"We are targeting this pier to finish in mid December," he conveyed.
