Seribu Islands People to Get Creative Economic Training

He believes those participants will be easy to practice it since they have learned the basic knowledge about batik thus participants can quickly understand the materials given by trainer.

One trainer who came from Jogjakarta, Dani said, he trains participants how to create natural dye from indigo plants (Latin name: indigofera tinctoria) or locally known as tarum (West Java) or tom (Jogjakarta). It is used to paint batik pattern based on Seribu Islands nature.

"We will paint it based on Seribu Islands nature. Later, we will bring indigo plant seeds and plant it here because weather in here support this plant to grow,"
