BPRD Keeps Optimizing Law Enforcement towards Taxpayers

Jakarta BPRD keeps optimizing law enforcement steps to collect taxpayer obligations.

"This year is the implementation of law enforcement carried out by Jakarta BPRD for taxpayers who are still in arrears," expressed Faisal Syafruddin, Acting Head of Jakarta BPRD, during the optimization of local tax revenue in the BPRD Multipurpose Room, Tuesday (12/4).

His party also has attached stickers and signposts to 1,776 taxpayers, as well as billing door to door to 1,353 luxury vehicle owners who have not re-registered.

Aside that, the law enforcement is also done by intensifying 60 vehicle tax raids along with police traffic unit directorate, passive and active collection by bailiffs to 188 taxpayers and tax collection by PPNS to 28 taxpayers.

"By so we hope they can soon pay their tax arrears," he stated.

This way gets appreciation from Jakarta Corruption Eradication Commission Deputy Chairman, Bambang Widjojanto. He assessed it is a form of effort to optimize tax revenues for the development of Jakarta.

"In helping the development, we're monitoring all developments, especially in taxation," he expressed.

For regional taxes, all records and transactions can be seen directly, as an online system has been applied.

The meeting itself was attended by 50 taxpayers of restaurant and 25 taxpayers of hotel, entertainment, and PBB-P2.
