Bus Detached, City Will Check Inka-made TransJakarta Buses

Jakarta Provincial Government will evaluate the cooperation with PT Industri Kereta Api (Inka), the manufacturer of detached articulated TransJakarta bus. As reported previously, an articulated TransJakarta bus detached on Jalan Raya Bekasi Timur, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (8/7), because its connecting bolts were broken.

We’ll see. If they used an unclear technology, there is possibility of another parts broken

“I will check the technology used to build that bus. They (PT Inka) promised would give big bolts, go ahead. If so, we’ll hold. If we bought it, we will not buy those broken products. That’s how to punish them,” stated Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama, Monday (8/11).

According to him, the technology used all around the world is usually Volvo for articulated buses.
