An articulated TransJakarta bus in corridor XI (Kampung Melayu-Pulogebang), was having broken bolts on Jalan Raya Bekasi Timur, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (8/8), around 3 PM. As a result, the bus with body number DMR 005 and license plate number B 7308 IV got its front part detached from rear part.

When this incident happened, the bus was transporting 40 passengers from Kampung Melayu Terminal towards Pulogebang. But when it got on Jalan Raya Bekasi Timur, 10 big bolts were suddenly broken which led to detachment.
“The bolts were broken into pieces one by one until the bus detached from the connection. I don’t know why it could happen,” said Himawan (48), the bus driver.
