20 joint personnel were deployed to handle inundation on Jalan Raya Fatmawati, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta due to heavy rain falls this afternoon.
Inundation is now starting to recede
South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali immediately monitored personnel on duty who cleaned up gutters thus water can flow faster to the channel in order to reduce inundation.
"This road becomes inundated because of heavy rain. So we deploy personnel to clean the gutter thus water can flow faster to the channel," he said, Monday (10/12).
Pluit Urban Village Intensifies Cleaning ChannelThis road is inundated while heavy rain falls around 12.00-12.30 PM. Inundation height reaches 10-20 centimeters and causes traffic congestion on the location.
South Jakarta SDA Sub-dept.'s Maintenance Section Head, Firman stated, joint personnel were from SDA Unit and PPSU.
"Inundation is now starting to recede. Gutter is actually clean but because rain water volume is rather high, it takes time for rain water to flow to the channel," he explained.
