Number of Transjakarta Passengers Reaches 721,900 People a Day

Number of Transjakarta bus passengers is increasing in the past three years. This increase is supported by various service innovations and facilities provided for the customers.

We hope residents can switch to use public transportation because we have prepared various supporting facilities and services

PT. Transjakarta has noted, there are 721,900 Transjakarta bus passengers in these past three years.

PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) Operational Director, Daud Josep conveyed, number of Transjakarta bus passengers in 2015 is 331,290 people a day. It is increasing into 721,900 people a day by 2018.

"This achievement is supported by adding Transjakarta bus units and routes," he informed, Wednesday (12/12).

He stated, increase in average number of passengers is also supported by better facilities and services from PT. Transjakarta. Currently, Transjakarta has 41 routes in 13 corridors. It contains of 15 Jabotabek routes which connect Jakarta and its surrounding areas, 7 tourism bus routes, 46 non-BRT integration routes, 22 settlement service routes, and 22 feeder bus routes.

"We hope residents can switch to use public transportation because we have prepared various supporting facilities and services," he said.
