19,612 Tourists Visit Pramuka Island Throughout 2018

Since January until December 2018, around 19,612 tourists have visited Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands.

From total number of tourists, 19,367 people are local tourists and 245 people are foreign tourists

"From total number of tourists, 19,367 people are local tourists and 245 people are foreign tourists," expressed Neneng Roaeni, Section Head of Administration for Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-dept., Saturday (12/15).

Road Repairs on Panggang and Pramuka Islands Have Reached 35 Percent

Even though it is island settlement, the Pramuka Island offers a variety of tours, from natural beauty, tourist parks, culinary to underwater spot tours.

"Every weekend, the number of tourists here is reaching more than 1,000 tourists," he explained.

He added that usually the tourists depart from Sunda Kelapa Port and Kaliadem Port using motorcycle taxis, Transportation Dept. vessels, and Sabuk Nusantara vessels to Pramuka Island.

"Aside that the tourist can also depart from Marina Ancol using fast boats," he expressed.
