Koja Puskemas Serves Health Check-up for 2,183 Future Grooms and Brides

During March to December 19, 2018, the Koja Puskesmas, North Jakarta has given medical examination to 2,183 future brides and grooms.

Koja Puskesmas Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) Head, Elysabeth E. Pandjaitan stated, this service is the realization of Gubernatorial Regulation No.185/2017 about Counseling and Health Examinations for Future Brides and Grooms. 

Koja Puskesmas Gets Achievement at National Level FKTP

"Future brides and grooms must check up their health since it is needed for marriage administration. Related to this matter, we have cooperated with PTSP because health check-up is required to get N1 from urban village," she explained, Thursday (12/20).

According to her, its regulation is one of Jakarta Government's efforts to prepare for gold generation. The health check-up itself is including blood type, HB, height and weight, tension, nutritional status, and tetanus toxoid (TT) immunization for each couple.

She asserted, the service is free of charge because service fee is charged to BPJS Kesehatan.

"We will help to process the administration if they don't have BPJS," she said.
