South Jakarta Forestry to Add 28 Operational Vehicles This Year

This year, South Jakarta Forestry Sub-department has added 28 operational vehicles. Those are 6 motorcycles, 10 water tankers, 11 pickup cars, and 1 car with ladder. Total budget for these operational vehicles is Rp 5 billion.
"We use this operational vehicles to evacuate fallen trees and water the plants," said Muhammad Yuswardi, South Jakarta Forestry Sub-department Head, Saturday (1/26).

"We will equip personnel who use motorcycles with chainsaws," he explained.
Including those 28 additional vehicles, currently South Jakarta Forestry Sub-department has 120 operational vehicles in total.
"We hope we can do more quickly in evacuating and pruning the trees and also watering the plants," he stated.
