Tackling Dengue Fever, Cilandak Holds Kampung Bebas Jentik Competition

This March, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta is about to hold Kampung Bebas Jentik (KBJ) competition. Residents of each urban villages compete to get rid mosquito larvae and make their environment clean. By this way, residents are encouraged to carry out a mass mosquito nest eradication (PSN) movement.

Cilandak Sub-district Head, Tomy Fudihartono expects this event to increase residents participation in tackling dengue fever.
"KBJ program has been set in Sub-district Head Decree since 2017. It is one of sub-district's innovations. This year, its assessment will start in March," he said, Saturday (2/9).
