Jokowi Doesn't Want to Comment the New Jakarta Vice Governor

Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo asserted he does not have the authority to comment on the figure of the next Jakarta Vice Governor candidate who will accompany Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama. It is undeniable if Jokowi already inducted and served as Indonesian President on October 20,2014, it will automatically bring Basuki as new Jakarta Governor.

"I have no authority to comment who will be the next Jakarta Vice Governor. So I don't want to comment," exclaimed Jokowi, at City Hall, Tuesday (8/19).

Jokowi acknowledged he never gave advice to Basuki about it. "There is no suggestion. I have no the authority to choose the next Jakarta Vice Governor but let Basuki makes his own decision," he expressed.

Meanwhile, Basuki wants the next vice governor is person who could be in line with Basuki to develop Jakarta better. "I hope the new vice governor can work along with Mr. Basuki to develop Jakarta and obey the applicable rules," he explained.

As for the information, there are two candidates of Jakarta Vice Governor, namely Jakarta City Council Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) fraction Chairman, Boy Sadikin Bernaldi, and Chairman of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra), Mohammad Sanusi.
