Budget for RTH Procurement Allocated at Rp 1.5 Trillion

Lands that have been acquired for RTH can be used to build parks, green spaces, public cemeteries

Jakarta Forestry Department (Dishut) allocates Rp 1.5 trillion for green space (RTH) procurement in 2019. Based on regional medium term development plan (RPJMD), Dishut is targeted to procure 43 hectares of land every year for RTH.

"We have acquired 45 hectares of land last year. This year, we are also optimistic to surpass the target," mentioned Jakarta Dishut's Land Procurement UPT Head, Dirja Kusuma, Thursday (3/14).

Facilities in Four TPUs to Be Completed

Dishut's Land Procurement UPT is responsible for land procurement, sites pegging, and land asset signs installation. Meanwhile, planning and construction duties are given to each technical divisions.

"Lands that have been acquired for RTH can be used to build parks, green spaces, public cemeteries," he added.

According to him, until March 11, 2019, he has received 91 application letter from residents who want to release their land for RT.

"Those 91 lands have been surveyed. Official memo, application letter for field maps, and zoning maps have been issued. Usually we can start to construct RTH in the following year after land acquisition," he explained
