Number of Thousand Islands Visitors is Highly Increased in March 2019

Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-department (Sudinparbud) stated that number of tourists who visit Thousand Islands is highly increased during March 2019. It is increased from 15 thousand visitors in February into 36 thousand visitors in March.

Compared to February 2019, it is increased by 21 thousand visitors, both local and foreign visitors

"Compared to February 2019, it is increased by 21 thousand visitors, both local and foreign visitors," said Cucu Ahmad Kurnia, Thousand Island Sudinparbud Head, Thursday (4/4).

Thousand Islands Offers Resort Islands for Travelers

According to him, there are several things that affect the increase in visitors, such as good weather, new selfie spots, and intensive promotion and socialization in Thousand Islands.

"Tourism is our main potential to improve our economy and Thousand Island residents' welfare," he conveyed.

Thus his side plans to add more festivals and events to attract more tourists to visit Thousand Islands.
