Social Department Starts Updating Integrated Data Base in Jakarta Soon

We need to update it by carrying out verification and validation from April 10 to July 6, 2019

Jakarta Social Department deploys 761 personnel to update the Integrated Data Base (BDT) in all Jakarta regions including Thousand Island Regency.

"BDT is the source of all of our database. We need to update it by carrying out verification and validation from April 10 to July 6, 2019," mentioned Irmansyah, Jakarta Social Department Head, Monday (4/8).

2019's Target Discussed by Jakarta Secretary and SKPDs

Updating BDT, he said, can help his side to identify accurately data of people below poverty line thus social programs and its benefits can be given on target.

"We need to ensure social aid to be given to the right person who deserves it based on predetermined criteria," he stated.

According to him, BDT should be updated regularly to minimize inclusion errors due to data changes such as death, house moving, and improved economy level or even exclusion errors where some people below poverty line are not registered as beneficiaries.

In detail, BDT for Central Jakarta area will be updated on April 10-21, Thousand Island on April 11-13, North Jakarta on April 22-May 7, West Jakarta on May 23-June 23, South Jakarta on June 24-July 6.
