Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Department Head, Andri Yansyah launches Independent Entrepreneur Training (PPTKM) in culinary for Central Jakarta region at Mardani Asri Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village, Cempaka Putih Sub-district.
We expect this training to increase local residents' economy
PPTKM is a part of Nakertrans Department's Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program. It is launched simultaneously in Mardani Asri RPTRA, Mutiara Sumur Batu RPTRA, and Kampung Budaya RPTRA with total participants of 200 people.
In this training, participants are taught how to provide traditional snacks and cookies such as biscuits, kastengel (Dutch-Indonesian cheese cookies), kue lumpur, chocolate mousse cake.

According to him, this training becomes a solution to reduce unemployment rate in Central Jakarta by developing home industry.
"We expect this training to increase local residents' economy. Because starting from hobby, people can develop their skill in this training and aim to have their own small business. If it is done wholeheartedly, I am sure they can turn it into big business," he expressed.
In this training, Nakertrans Department also supports participants by giving stove and mixer for free. It is given symbolically by Andri Yansyah to the participant's representatives in
this event.
