Jakarta Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises, and Trade (KUKMP) Department conducts food inspection at temporary location (Loksem) JP 34, Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta, to ensure food safety especially in this Ramadan Month.

Jakarta KUKMP Department Head, Adi Ariantara said to take 14 samples of kerupuk (deep fried crackers), bean curd, nasi kapau dish, and cookies and check the food samples on laboratory using rapid test method. This method is used to know the result in a short time.

"We want our coached traders in JP 34 to get customer's trust that their products are safe for consumption," he asserted.
In this activity, he also reminds the merchants about good sanitation and cleanliness in Loksem JP 34 area.
"It is very important to
keep the area clean since it greatly affects the food hygiene," he added.
