Parents of Students at SDN 01 Pagi Demand KJP Fund

As far as I know, the KJP fund will be disbursed partially. I need it to buy school equipment for my son/daughter

Due to limited funding, Jakarta Provincial Government decides more selective in distributing funds for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP). No wonder, it makes some parents worried their children may not get the KJP. Whereas, they need the fund to buy school equipment.

Neti, (30), a student parent of State Elementary School (SDN) 01 Pagi admitted she worried her son/daughter may not get the KJP fund this year. Nearly three months, she has been waiting for disbursement of KJP fund but until now she has not received it.

Education Dept Will Cut KJP Recipients

"As far as I know, the KJP fund will be disbursed partially. I need it to buy school equipment for my son/daughter," she expressed, Tuesday (8/26).

Headmaster of SDN 01 Pagi Kebon Jeruk, Yayan Rokayah disclosed many parents ask about KJP fund disbursement. They admitted has been waiting for it long enough.

He mentions, based on the data of SDN 01 Pagi Kebon Jeruk, the number of KJP applicants is about 80 students, and 20 out of them have received. Then the rest are still waiting for proposal at city level.

Responding on this matter, Head of West Jakarta Primary Education Sub-Department, Deli Indrayati asked the parents to be patient. If they follow her sub-department procedure, they would certainly received the KJP fund soon.

"If the parents follow our procedure, we will distribute the KJP fund to them. Don't worry," she uttered.
