KJP Fund, Rp 670 Billion will Be Disbursed Soon

In the near future, the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) fund is scheduled to be disbursed amounting to 670 out of Rp 799 billion. The amount is adjusted with existing KJP recipients who have been verified.

Head of Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD), Endand Widjajanti disclosed disbursement process is being conducted. As the initial stage, her party plans to disburse KJP fund around Rp 670 billion. "The amount is slightly small under the fund ceiling," she stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (8/5).
She disclosed, in the initial stage, the students will receive the KJP fund for first semester. While second semester, its distribution would be done after 2014 City Budget (APBD) Amendment is ratified. The reason is additional fund is still being filed in APBD Amendment.
KJP Fund Disbursed ImmediatelyAccording to Widjajanti, such fund is ready to be distributed to students who have been re-verified by Jakarta Education Department. "The fund will be used for social assistance funds (bansos) and grants," she expressed.
Separately, Head of Jakarta Education Department, Lasro Marbun admitted he and BPKD already had solution on KJP fund disbursement. He assessed, its disbursement depends on recipients of Budget Implementation Document (DPA), that is BPKD.
"We've had solution on this matter. Considering there must be a party who filed the budget, namely BPKD," he uttered.
The fund required for 2013-2014 KJP is Rp 1.3 trillion, and would be distributed to 575,670 students. Because of additional data is still being filed, the data has been verified can disbursed by BPKD. Per month, students at the level of Elementary School (SD), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) or equivalent will get KJP fund around Rp 210,000, Rp 240,000 for students of Junior High School (SMP) and Madrasah Aliyah (MA). The fund is distributed every three once a month.
