Jakarta Education Agency has distributed 753 Jakarta excellent student cards (KJMU) , which are included in Phase 1/2019.
Its distribution is conducted at the Personal Funding and Operational Education Technical Executing Unit (UPT P4OP) Office, Jalan Jatinegara Timur IV, Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
KJMU Ensured to Be Programmed in RPJMDThe UPT P4OP opens two rooms to distribute in order to avoid accumulation during distribution of cards and passbooks. Its distribution starts at 8 AM-1 PM.
Jakarta Education Agency's KJMU UPT P4OP Coordinator, Dewi Lestari said that KJMU funds are given Rp 9 million per semester consisting of the cost for administering education or Single Tuition (UKT) and personal support.
"The ATM KJMU card use can directly be used tomorrow," he expressed, Thursday (6/27).
She explained that education-funding aid through KJMU would enter the accounts of each beneficiary. However, the KJMU funds that have been used are personal support costs.
"For the cost for administering education or UKT, the Bank DKI will transfer it to the recipient's PTN account in accordance with the amount of UKT determined by the PTN," he stated.
For D4 or S1, the cost of improving the quality of education is only up to semester 8 and D3 up to semester 6.
"There is a special extension of two semesters, but it must be accompanied by an explanation or clear reasons," he stated.
As for the information, the KJMU is a program to provide education quality improvement aid for prospective students from underprivileged families and have good academic potential to increase access and learning opportunities at PTN by being fully funded by the city budget (APBD).
Here are requirements of KJMU recipients:
1. Register at PTN and is declared to have passed the selection through State University Entrance Selection (SNMPTN), State University Entrance Test (SBMPTN) and Independent PTN Selection.
2. Jakarta ID card and domiciled in Jakarta
3. School in SMA/SMK/MA in Jakarta
4. From underprivileged family
5. May not receive any educational aid from the government (not double).
