Today, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan opened Jakarnaval 2019 and sent 3,500 people and 65 ornamental vehicles participant in Jakarnaval 2019 parade from City Hall.

Theme for current Jakarta's Anniversary is 'New Face of Jakarta'

"Theme for current Jakarta's Anniversary is 'New Face of Jakarta'. New face is not only about physical appearance, but also the new perspective in how we work, think, and see things," he conveyed on the location, Sunday (6/30) afternoon.

He also thanks everyone, especially Jakartans, who take a part in Jakarta's 492nd Anniversary.

"We should appreciate their work for making this anniversary event goes well," he expressed.

Jakarnaval 2019 is enlivened by ornamental car parade from Local Government Work Units/Departments/Agencies (SKPD/UKPD)s,  and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD)s which parade along Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
