This Month, Jakarta Returns to Hold Cheap Market Operation

On July 6-19, Jakarta Government is about to hold cheap market operation in several public housings and Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s.

Jakarta Secretary's Economy and Financial Assistant, Sri Haryati conveyed, this operation targets underprivileged residents to improve their nutrition intake.

City Sells Foods at Affordable Price in RPTRAs and Flats

"We are holding cheap market operation every months," she stated at City Hall, Monday (7/8).

This operation is held for residents who have Jakarta Pintar Plus Card (KJP Plus), Worker Cards, Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Public Facility Maintenance Agency (PPSU) personnel, freelancer (PHL), and Jakarta Government's public housing occupants.

"In this operation, they can get staple foods in affordable prices. Our personnel on the field will help them for registration," she mentioned.

Through this cheap market operation, government sells rice Rp 30,000 per 5 kilograms; meat Rp 35,000 per kilogram; 1 tray of eggs Rp 10,000; chicken Rp 8,000; mackerel Rp 13,000 per kilogram; and 1 carton of milk (24pcs) Rp 30,000.
