PDAM Jaya ensures clean water supply in Jakarta is still safe. But it still reminds Jakartans to save water and be wise in using water during dry season.
PDAM Jaya Targets 70,000 New Customers in 2019According to information from PDAM Jaya Public Relation Manager, Linda Nurhandayani, whether PDAM's clean water supply is still safe or not can be checked from water level status in Jatiluhur Reservoir.
"Current Jatiluhur Reservoir's water level reaches 102 meters with minimum level of 87.5 meters. It means water supply is still safe," she said, Tuesday (7/10).
Besides, rainfall from Tangerang is relatively good and raw water sources from Jakarta (Krukut River and Cengkareng Drain) are still sufficient.
"We also cooperate with Aetra and Palyja to provide water tank for emergency situation. In total, we have 26 water tank cars. 5 water tank cars from PDAM J
aya, 6 from Aetra, and 15 from Palyja," she added.
