East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department educated people about fire handling and prevention at car free day location on Jl. Raya Pemuda Rawamangun, Pulogadung.

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-department's Prevention Section Head, Edi Parwoko mentioned, his side opened booth on the north side of Jl. Raya Pemuda and deployed 8 personnel to educate people at car free day how to prevent fire and handle it.

Fire Socialization Given to RW 05 Kapuk Muara Residents

"This socialization is a part of our efforts in preventing fire incident in East Jakarta," he conveyed, Sunday (7/28).

His side educated residents how to extinguish fire using wet towel and explains about firefighter equipment such as anti-fire jacket, boots, axe, helm, snorkel, fire truck.

"We also give them brochure how to prevent and handle fire," he added.
