Anies Launches Carik Jakarta Application

During Jakarta Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) Cadres Meeting 2019 event held at Jakarta International Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta on Tuesday (7/30), Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan introduced integrated family registration application called Carik Jakarta.

Today, we launch Carik Jakarta application

"Today, we launch Carik Jakarta application. Carik is local language that is used to mention village secretary whose work is to record data. We use this word for our application's name because this application will be used by PKK cadres to record residents data," he stated as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Conference.

Anies Targets Public Transport Integration Through Jak Lingko

According to him, Jakarta Government is ready to cooperate with PKK cadres which are mostly women. This collaboration is expected to create policy that is on target and gives benefit to residents.

"I want to cooperate with all of you. I am sure, you as the mother of family, is the one who knows most about your family. As well as communities. Thus we want to integrate all of our programs and ensure it to reach the communities through PKK cadres. It means government trusts all of you to make sure your families and neighbors needs are fulfilled from the basic aspects such as health and others as it is mentioned in Governor Instruction (Ingub) No. 2/2019," he added.

His side appreciates PKK cadres who perform well in registering and monitoring families and houses condition in several areas in Jakarta. He also shocked with their data since it reveals the real condition on the field, such as number of family members and availability of water sanitation and hygiene practices (MCK) in resident house.

He hopes PKK cadres data can be the main data reference in making one-stop service policies, thus other department doesn't need to re-collect residents data. Besides, his side wants to solve problems in Jakarta by focus on the smallest unit first, that is family.

"This is a long-term efforts. It surely brings great impact for our next generations if problems from family units can be solved through this program. Such as decline in stunting rates, number of school dropouts, then improvement in education participation level and children's nutritional quality," he stated.

His side also submitted awards and trophies which are achieved by Jakarta PKK Team Leaders at city level and regency level.

"I want to appreciate PKK cadres for their hard work in serving the residents. These trophies and awards tell us how serious they work," he expressed.
