The Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency positively welcomes traditional art festival themed 'Interpreting Oral Literature in Traditional Art' held at Teater Kecil Plaza, Taman Ismanil Marzuki (TIM), Cikini, Central Jakarta from August 5 until 8, 2019.

It is filled by with a number of activities such as poetry readings, short stories, buleng, surah sahibul, gambang rancak, pipette gandes masks, lenong and playing punches attractions.

The Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency Head, Rusmantoro said that the event is realized in collaboration with the central government and the Betawi Cultural Institute (LKB).

"Hopefully it can be a routine agenda. In future, it will also be held in the midst of society," he explained, Wednesday (8/7).

At the same time, LKB Chairperson, Beky Mardani appreciates the event.

"This is an extraordinary surprise and must be displayed frequently in order to introduce it to our millennial generation," he stated.
