The Bulak Cabe Pump House construction in Cilincing Urban Village is targeted to be completed in the upcoming December.

This pump house has two pumps with a capacity of 3,500 liters per second and two mud pumps with a capacity of 500 liters per second.

"We will operate this pump house in 2020," said North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Adrian Mara Maulana, Saturday (8/10).

Its construction also includes long storage sheetpile construction as long as one kilometer.

Eventually the pump house would draw water from the Cakung Lama River towards the Cakung Drain River to flow into the ocean.

"Hopefully its existence is able to minimize puddles from the river," he hoped.
