55 citizens categorized as dhuafa (the poor) living in eight RWs, Kalibaru Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta received 300 boxes of processed qurban meat in Dapur Qurban Program.
City Holds Dapur Qurban Event, Collaboration to Share"They feel happy. With this program, they feel there is a correlation and a sense of bond with the governor," said Kalibaru Urban Village RW 06 Chairperson, Abdul Qarim, Monday (8/12).
According to him, this program is a blessing for them to taste the cuisine of a five-star hotel's chef. He hoped, similar program could be held in the coming years with an increasing number of recipients.
While, Kalibaru Urban Village Head, Suyono explained that 300 boxes are distributed to eight RWs, such as RW 01, 04, 06, 07, 10, 12, 13 and 15. Each of them receives 35 boxes.
"We rarely experience moments like this. We're really very enthusiastic," he stated.
