The condition of Susukan Built Landscape (lokbin) on Jalan Raya Bogor, Susukan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-District, East Jakarta, is getting more and more concerning. Tens of street vendors who initially occupied the landscape are now trading along green belt in front of the location and under Pasar Rebo Flyover.
The traders who are selling on greenbelt and under flyover have kiosks in this lokbin. But since the lokbin is not repaired for years, no buyers come here
Based on beritajakarta.com observations, Monday (9/1), the 2,900-square meter lokbin is deserted from visitors. Inside, there are only two traders seen. No trading activities at all. While outside, the lokbin’s signpost has gone, as well as some canopies. In addition, the walls, which have collapsed, are covered with plywood.
Burhanudin, one of caretakers of RW 04 Susukan, said that Susukan Lokbin needs immediate repair so the trading activities would return to normal again. Moreover, related institution is also asked to intensively control the traders not to sell on green belt and under flyover.
