Commemorating 74th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day, tens artisans make giant Garuda Pancasila replica. This replica is made from peanuts which are sticked into 140 plywood as thick as 7 inch each.

This replica's height reaches 17 meters as wide as 16 meters with total weight to reach 1.5 tons. It will be installed in Plaza Tugu Api, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
"Hopefully this replica could encourage students and residents to understand more about philosophy behind Garuda Pancasila as our nation's symbol," he said.
TMII Research, Development, and Culture Acting Director (Plh), Sigit Gunardjo mentioned, his side facilitates the artisans to make this Garuda Pancasila replica because TMII is the center of culture in Jakarta.
"Tonight, we will install this replica in Plaza Tugu Api until August 31," he informed.
