Jakarta Water Resources Agency repairs the Sunter River's levee on Jalan Tarum Barat, RT 01/04, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta, on Thursday (8/22).

This repair has been carried out since July 19. To do that, we have sent 50 personnel to the location

River and East Stream System Taskforce Coordinator, Wahyudin said repair uses bronjong (rocks wrapped in plaited wires) as long as 77 meters for the barrier in a bid to prevent subsequent landslides and flood.

Hopefully it can maintain the ecosystem or biota in the river.
