City Displays Artworks Created by SLB Students in Jakarta

Jakarta Education Department holds exhibition on August 28-29, 2019 that displays artworks created by extraordinary school (SLB) students at Education Department Office, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

Jakarta Education Department Head, Ratiyono mentioned, hundreds SLB students from 11 public SLB schools and 79 private SLB schools in Jakarta participate in this exhibition.
"They have skills in art, painting, music, craft, and others. Through this exhibition, we want to build their confidence and let other people know their potentials by displaying their works," he explained, Wednesday (8/28).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Education Department Elementary School Division Head, Didih Hartaya expected this exhibition to encourage extraordinary students to be more skilled for their bright future.
"SLB is more inclined to vocational school such as SMK, where they are trained to be skilled," he asserted.
