Jakarta Planetarium to Hold Free Public Viewing on September 7

The Jakarta Planetarium and Observatory is offering a free public viewing of moon and planet phenomenon on September 7, at 3 PM until 11.59 PM.  

But we only prepared 200 quotas and now it was sold out through online registration that was opened on August 29

Jakarta TIM Management Unit Head, Imam Hadi Purnomo said that the enthusiasm of people who want to enjoy astronomical phenomena is very high.

"But we only prepared 200 quotas and now it was sold out through online registration that was opened on August 29," he expressed, Tuesday (9/3).

TIM Arts Center Revitalization Includes Improvement of Planetarium Facilities

Visitors can view the moon, Jupiter and Saturn more closely using the five telescopes prepared.

"We also have astronomy discussions and workshops in order to improve people's insights about astronomy," he stated.

As for the information, the moon, Jupiter and Saturn would be in a position close to one another as if composing straight line like a marching formation on September 7.
