Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan revealed that the wayang kulit (leather shadow puppet) show held at the Jakarta City Hall last night could continue to grow in the capital city.

"Moreover this wayang kulit show is a full spectacle of guidance that can lead the public to a better order going forward," expressed Anies in his speech at the Wayang Kulit Show with a puppeteer Ki Manteb Sudarsono at the Jakarta City Hall, Saturday (14/9) evening.

He was grateful that the City Hall could hold wayang kulit show by presenting the mastermind maestro Ki Manteb Sudarsono. The show that takes the story or the play 'Kresno Duto: The Duto Pamungkas is also expected to be a material for reflection for the community.

"The messages brought by Ki Manteb Sudarsono need to be contemplated together to compile the action," he said.

He hoped that it would be a new chapter for the progress of the city and society in Jakarta. These meaningful arts and cultural performances in the future will be used as routine agenda as people's entertainment and educational shows.

"Surely we can hold the same event at the City Hall in the future," he expressed.

At the end of his speech, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Ki Manteb Sudarsono who had been willing to spend his time at the City Hall. Similar statement was also stated to all parties concerned and the public who enlivened this event.
