Thousand Islands Booths at Flona 2019 Crowded by Visitors

Since it is opened since Friday (9/6) until Wednesday (9/18), the total number of visitors is reaching 3,551 people

The Thousand Islands Regency booths at the 2019 Flora and Fauna (Flona) event in Banteng Square area, Central Jakarta is always crowded. Many visitors come to find out tourist spots in there.

Almost every day, there are around 100-300 visitors who come. While on weekends, the number increases to 500-600 visitors.

"Since it is opened since Friday (9/6) until Wednesday (9/18), the total number of visitors is reaching 3,551 people," reported Thousand Islands 2 Technical Working Unit Head, Sofyan, Thursday (9/19).

In the location, visitors usually want to take selfies in places that are designed like a miniature of the Thousand Islands.

"While the spots of photo selfie favored by children are on a boat mounted on a miniature sea or fish pond, a stretch of sand and a gazebo.

Then for the young couples usually take selfies in umbrella tents and Fort Martello miniature on Kelor Island.

"Visitors can also see photo documentation about flora and fauna in Thousand Islands to add insight," he added.
