As many as 24 officers of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency were on patrol using bikes to monitor the bike lanes in East Jakarta and its surrounding areas.

"We send them every day since 6 AM to 9 PM. They are divided into two shifts," disclosed East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Supervision and Control Division Head Slamet Dahlan, Tuesday (9/24).

They start to conduct monitoring from Jalan Pemuda until Jalan Pramuka, precisely from TU Gas Intersection until Matraman Intersection. From these streets, the critical point of misuse of this bike lanes is in front of Arion and in the area opposite the Genjing Pramuka Market.

"If someone abuses the bike lane, the officer will give a warning persuasively," he st ated.
