Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, conducted a dialog with bike community at Pendopo Balai Kota right after finishing hic cycled along 16 kilometers from Velodrome, Rawamangun, Friday (9/20).

Through the dialog, plenty of aspirations were given especially related to the facilities in the frame of preparing bike lane in Jakarta.
Responding the aspiration, Anies said that his side starts providing bike lanes that are divided into three phases by 65 kilometers in length totally. The first phase is along 25 kilometers which is focused on road with odd-even policy.

He hopes roads majority in Jakarta will have bike lane.
"There will be a variation for its format," he added.
The governor also invite Jakartans to look at bicycles not as mere sports but as a means of transportation.
"Just use your bike as your reachable-destination transportation," he stated.
According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government is campaigning riding bike as well as preparing its facilities.
"In the future, we'll give sanction for vehicles using bike lane," he closed.
Meanwhile, Tedy, member of the community, hopes more bike lane to be provided in the future. He admitted that he rides his bike everyday to his office in Rasuna Said, South Jakarta from his house in Kelapa Dua, Depok.
"At this moment, there is lack of bike lane. But I hope the government will add it more," he hoped.
