Disnakertrans Keeps Socializing PPKD Through Job Fair

Through PPKD training, we hope they can also earn an income by being entrepreneurs

The Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans) continues to socialize the Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), including through the job fair.

It is aimed at job seekers not to fully depend on job opportunities for companies that open job vacancies.

PPKD and Kadin Cooperate to Distribute Manpower

According to Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency, job seekers can utilize the PPKD service in five regions to become an an independent workforce or an entrepreneur.

"Through PPKD training, we hope they can also earn an income by being entrepreneurs. As entrepreneurs, they actually have the opportunity to open employment," he expressed, Wednesday (9/25).

Their participation will also increasingly create links and matches between job seekers and job search companies. It is because the PPKD trainees  will have the provision of specific skills.

"Based on the results of job fair evaluation, only hundreds are accepted from the thousands of vacancies offered. This is an indicator of a mismatch between the job search company and job seeker," he explained.

He added PPKD at every job fair has a focus on getting the workforce to equip themselves with skills and knowledge before applying for work.

"We equip them with skills and knowledge first. If the person already has it, including certificate and pass competency test, they will be more easily accepted to work or can be entrepreneurs," he asserted.
