Mud Dredging in Maja River Has Touched 50 Percent

It has been ongoing since August and aims to minimize inundation in Kalideres area

The mud dredging process in Maja River, Pegadungan, Kalideres, West Jakarta has reached 50 percent. It is carried out from Jalan Peta Utara up to Bambu Larangan and targeted to be complete in October.

"It has been ongoing since August and aims to minimize inundation in Kalideres area," expressed West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency's Raw, Clean and Waste Flood Waters Control Maintenance Head, Imam Prasetyo, Wednesday (9/25).

Kepu Selatan Channel Dredging Targeted to Be Complete in October

It is carried out up to 1,050 meters length with 1-1.5 meters depth.

"To do it, we have deployed amphibian and spider excavators plus 10 dumb trucks and 15 personnel to the location," he closed.
