Here Are Several Requirements to Receive KJMU

The Jakarta Education Agency is going to inject educational funding for underprivileged students of state universities (PTN) but also private universities (PTS).

It is provided to PTS, either institutions or study programs that has accreditation A and is located in Jakarta

"It is provided to PTS, either institutions or study programs that has accreditation A and is located in Jakarta," he expressed, after the symbolic handover of KJMU to 5,061 students at the Jakarta City Hall, Monday (9/30).

Therefore, for those who want to apply for funding assistance through the KJMU, you have to meet several requirements below:

1. Applying for Aid Education Quality Improvement Fee to the governor through the Division Head of Jakarta Education Agency in sub-district.

2. Requesting for Financial Assistance to improve the Quality of Education referred to include the document

a. Application for Aid Education Quality Improvement Costs

b. Statement letter stamped Rp 6,000

c. Statement letter of obedience with the Use of Education Quality Assistance Costs;

d. Photocopy of ID Card 

e. Photocopy of Family Card 

f.  Relief Letter 

g. Proof of registration/exam number on college admission selection

3. Especially in 2016, students report to the education unit where they come from and register through the education unit

"They must also have graduated from secondary education in public/private education units in Jakarta later than three years earlier," he explained

They must also have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.0 for private tertiary institutions with social studies programs. Meanwhile, for PTN, exact study programs, the minimum GPA must be 2.75.

"If this is not met, they will be blacklisted," he stated.

As for the information, the PTS that will become KJMU partners in 2020 are PTS that has accreditation A, either institutions and study programs as many as 11 PTSs in Jakarta area, including Gunadarma University, Bina Nusantara University, Mercubuana University, Trisakti University and Tarumanegara University.

There are also National University, Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka University, Atmajaya University, Faculty of Economics at Trisakti University, Pancasila University, Driyakara Philosophy College.
