Jakarta Forestry Department extends Flora and Flona (Flona) Exhibition 2019 up to October 14 at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta.
It increases by five times than last year
Actually, Flona 2019 is held on September 6 - October 7. But, due to high demand towards Flona event, Forestry Department extends it until October 14.
"Flona visitor reaches 2,000 people on weekday and 6,000 people on weekend," stated Suzi Marsitawati, Head Department of Jakarta Forestry, Tuesday (10/8).
PMPTSP Opens Booth at Flona 2019She explained, total visitors of Flona 2019 on September 6 - October 7 are more than 120,000 people. It increased dramatically from last year's total visitor.
"It increases by five times than last year with total 24,000 visitors," she mentioned.
Total tenants participate in this event is 208 tenants who sell decorative plants, fruit trees, pets, herbs, food and beverage, and others.
Moreover, her side also collaborates with communities to provide community room to show their innovations and creativities trhough workshop and installation arts.
"Our target for visitors in Flona 2019 is 150,000 people until October 14," she mentioned.
For information, Flona 2019 raises theme of 'Ruang Hijau Jakartaku' or 'Green Space of My Jakarta'. It is also enlivened with interesting and innovative booths from five Jakarta regions and Thousand Islands.
