South Jakarta Mayor Participates in Phase 2 Bicycle Lane Trial Today

South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali joined the Phase 2 bicycle lane trial along 23 kilometers with route from Jalan Fatmawati, Jalan Panglima Polim, Jalan Sisingamangaraja to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.

He expected Jakartans to be enthused with the new bicycle lane since it facilitates people to travel using bicycle.

"Insya Allah, South Jakartans are happy with this additional bicycle lane. Generally, it's condition is quite satisfying," he mentioned, Saturday (10/12).

According to him, bicycle is not only used for exercise, but also becomes a daily lifestyle. He often reminds his apparatuses to get used to go cycling for their daily activities.

"I remind them several times to use bicycle as their transport when they need to go to nearby places," he asserted.
