Bicycle-Friendly Jakarta Program gets positive response from Dimas Seto (39), a celebrity who participates in trialing Phase 2 bicycle lane with Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan this Saturday (10/12) morning.

"I really support Bicycle-Friendy Jakarta Program because it makes air in Jakarta cleaner and makes our body healthier and more fit," he expressed.

This morning, he and his friends joined governor's entourage to test bicycle lane along Fatmawati-Panglima Polim-Sisingamangaraja-Sudirman-Jakarta City Hall.

West Jakarta Environment Office Provides Bicycle Parking

Providing and testing this bicycle lane, he assessed, shows Jakarta Government's concern towards cyclists.

"It means, this bicycle lane is provided to give comfort and safety for cyclists," he mentioned.

He admitted, his side often goes cycling together with his friends from Bintaro to Kota Tua, West Jakarta.

Thus he hopes this bicycle lane can encourage more people to use bicycle.

"Hopefully, number of bicycle users continues to increase, both from workers, students, and communities," he asserted.
