SMA Students on Pramuka Island Trained Rescue Techniques in Waters

As many as 42 students of SMA on Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands are trained in water rescue techniques held by the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency.

Thanks to the trainers, hopefully the knowledge can be useful and helpful late

It aims to make them understand and can conduct rescue when an accident occurs in the waters.

"We teach them the theory and practice about saving victims at sea," expressed North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan, Tuesday (10/15).

Seribu Islands People Given Water Rescue Training

Those students are scout members who already have basic first aid knowledge and swimming skills so it is not too difficult to absorb and practice the material given.

One of students, Lestari (17), a student of SMAN 69 Jakarta admitted she was happy and enjoyed training.

"Thanks to the trainers, hopefully the knowledge can be useful and helpful later," she hoped.
