The Thousand Islands District booth became the best for the tourism category in the 2019 Flona event that took place in Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta.

This award confirms that the Thousand Islands is indeed worth as the National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN)

Thousand Islands Regency Secretary Eric PZ Lumbun who received the award said he was thankful and grateful to the regional working unit (UKPD) under the Thousand Islands District Administration for being involved in and helping to succeed the event.

"This award confirms that the Thousand Islands is indeed worth as the National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN)," he expressed, Wednesday (10/16).

The event that takes theme Romantic Historic Paradise is realized in the design and replica themed beach, fortress, sea, ships and miniature of the Kelor Island.

"The booth is the main attraction for visitors thus we have to present a better one in the future, especially in providing selfie spots," he exclaimed.
