The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Legislation Body (Bapemperda) along with the executive is about to discuss the 2020 Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda).

Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda Chairperson Pantas Nainggolan said this discussion would further improve the quality of discussion and embedding of academic texts sent by the executive.
"We really want to realize it next year. That means we do not merely pursue quantity, but must be accompanied by quality," he expressed, Thursday (10/24).

Jakarta Legal Bureau Head Yayan Yuhanah expressed his party will soon prepared an academic text that is needed by the DPRD in the next year's Propemperda.
Thus far there are about 160 draft bylaws that need to be discussed, such as the regional spatial planning (RTRW) as a basis for a review of the Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR).
"Next week we'll make a presentation on the Propemperda. We will first take inventory according to its classification, as there are also regulations from the center that need to be adjusted to Jakarta," he stated.
